Punta Mita Golfing

Oh yes, we have golf.  Not one, but two Jack Nicklaus signature golf courses grace the grounds next to the Four Seasons and St. Regis Resorts.  Access to Club de Golf is exclusive to Punta Mita homeowners, renters and guests staying at the two resorts.

The courses are a golfer's dream.  The Pacifico Course was named by Conde Nast Traveler readers as the Number One golf resort in the world.  Jack Nicklaus designed Pacifico to be enjoyed by all skill levels from beginner to expert.  Pacifico's "Tail of the Whale" hole has two paths:  3A and 3B.  The intrepid route (Hole 3B) calls for a shot of 190 yards over the blue Pacific Ocean to the true island green—the only one of its kind in the world.  The alternate hole, 3A, involves fewer heroics, but is not a gimme.  The newest course, Bahia, is for experts, and has a slope rating ten strokes higher than Pacifico.

Pacifico Golf Course

Punta Mita Golf Course is a 195-acre Jack Nicklaus "Pacífico" creation surrounded by the natural beauty of the region—from towering palms to exotic flora. This Jack Nicklaus Signature course offers an 18-hole, par 72-Championship experience for all levels of golfers. The unique layout features eight ocean-facing holes and a stunning par 3 on a natural island. Hole 13 runs along a quiet lagoon. The course plays between 5,037 and 7,014 yards.

The first tee time is 7:30am (subject to change depending on sunrise). Tee times area available at 10-minute intervals and no waitlist is available. Singles are accepted and may be paired upon request.

Bahia Golf Course

The Punta Mita Jack Nicklaus Golf Course "Bahia" course follows dramatic, undulating terrain with panoramic views. This par 72 Championship course offers a wide range of tee boxes for players of all skill levels.

The newest addition to Punta Mita’s golfing achievement, this second Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course opened in late 2008 and is as stunning as its sister course. Featuring six ocean holes and playing between 5,180 and 7,030 yards, this championship course rolls through the property of the St. Regis Resort, and among the communities of El Encanto, Porta Fortuna, and La Punta Estates. The challenging and undulating fairway and green complexes offer a wonderful counterpart to Pacifico for golf afficionados.
